For all you non-designers out there, PMS stands for “Pantone Matching System.” If you don’t know what Pantone is, you should. They do things like define the “fall colors” for lots of brands. They’re a freakin’ authority.

While we’re in the learnin’ mood, we humbly submit that you should also know about Tiny PMS Match, a personal project of designer Inka Mathew. Defined by Mathew on her site as “a personal project of tiny proportion,” it’s a mesmerizing foray into finding the exact color likeness of a physical object in the dizzyingly vast PMS color schema.

And according to Zoe, “it’s amazingly cute.”
